Meet Our Parent Dogs

We’ve carefully selected our parent dogs for their health, temperament, and structure, with each bringing something of their own to our program. Getting to know them is a good place to begin when considering one of our puppies.

Below, you’ll find the dogs behind Ohio Valley Labradoodles. Visit their individual pages for health testing results, WALA registration details, size, and color—and a closer look at each dog’s personality.

    Optimal Health

Health testing is an essential part of how we select our parent dogs. Before breeding, each dog undergoes genetic screening for inherited conditions, hip and elbow evaluations, and an eye examination by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist.

As WALA members, we follow the association’s Code of Ethics and submit DNA profiles for our breeding dogs. You can review each dog’s health testing results on their individual page.

    Outstanding Temperament

All of our parent dogs have loving, friendly, confident, and easygoing personalities, making them ideal family companions above all else. Some of our parents are active in therapy work and some of their puppies have gone on to do therapy or service work. A parent dog’s temperament plays an important role in their puppies, which is why we carefully select only the best to breed!

    Consistency

Our puppies are multigenerational Australian Labradoodles, reflecting years of dedicated breeding and generations of health-tested parent dogs. We’ve carefully refined traits like coat quality, temperament, and health to ensure consistency and meet the highest standards. Our puppies are non-shedding, with luxurious, predictable, allergy-friendly coats.

  • WALA Accredited

As members of the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association, we're held to some of the highest standards in the breed. WALA membership requires genetic health testing, OFA clearances, ethical breeding practices, and full transparency — so when you bring home an OVL puppy, you can trust that every box has been checked. It's not just a badge. It's accountability.
